The Labrador Retriever Club of the Pioneer Valley Objects:

To encourage and promote the advancement and betterment of pure-bred Labrador Retrievers. 

To urge members and breeders to accept the standard as approved by the AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB and to apprise the members of any changes, deletions, revisions or corrections as they may occur.

To conduct sessions for the training of dogs and their handlers;
to encourage the training of judges;

to encourage and cooperate with individuals and other groups with similar purposes;

to hold and support obedience training, tests, exhibitions and matches
under the rules and regulations of the AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB;
to promote cooperation and good sportsmanship among its members.

To conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows, obedience trials, and 
field sessions under the rules of the AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB.
